Phil from NPS created a really nice step-by-step on CAC and mail

Personally, I would love nothing less than to be able to boot

as Linux is the ONLY Operating System which natively supports the

AX.25, the Amateur Radio version of X.25.
However, notwithstanding the forgoing, I generally am able to
do all I
please with MacOS, and find that I do not need Linux very often,
while the
ability to use Office and Unix functionality seem to be perfected
on a Mac
"Workstation" (well those silly marketing people call it a PowerBook)!
Personally, there are some software packages I still need to
run under
Windows, and it would be far nicer to have "DarWine" running rather
than a
copy of Windows running on an Intel, but I am willing to use the
best type
of solution that comes out first, even if it is dual booting with
Vista or
using some future MacOS VMware with Vista (or Linux for that matter).
But, I will be upgrading to one of the new MacIntels once the
smaller,
and larger screen sizes come out. Currently, I have a PowerBook 17"
Mac to
use, but if I go MacIntel, I think I would want the smaller 12"
version to
use with a 30" monitor when at home, and in laptop mode when in
road warrior
mode.
I had also posted a request for a HOW-TO or FAQ on setting up
the CAC on
the Mac PowerBook 17, and had email issues recently. So as I am
behind on my
reading of this list, and may not have received all my batches of
postings,
may I request someone email that to me directly, if it was ever
developed at
all?
