[Fed-Talk] Government EPP vs Veteran's Advantage?

  • Subject: [Fed-Talk] Government EPP vs Veteran's Advantage?

On the entry point for Apple's Government EPP

<http://www.apple.com/r/store/government/epp.html>

...there's an advert for Veterans Advantage. It links to a membership
program offering "special discounts" on Apple Computers and iPods:

<https://www.veteransadvantage.com/alt/Register.jsp?va30=true&partner=vaoffer1>

Does this program offer any discounts on Apple products better than
what I already qualify for as a federal employee?

-Lee

PS: I'm always a bit skeptical about these kind of membership
programs. I must cynically note that the annual membership to
Veteran's Advantage costs $60. The advert mentioned above offers a 30
day free trial, but you do have to pay a $5 enrollment fee. Quite the
bargain :)
