Just a thought, but do you have to have Bonjour for Windows installed
on the Windows machine?

I need help.
Just received a new Airport Extreme at home. I have hooked a USB
drive up to it. I can access it on the local network from a Mac or
from Windows (in network neighborhood).
I have enabled sharing to the Internet in the setup. I can access
the drive from the Internet on a Mac by going to the finder and
selecting to connect to a server and entering the IP address of my
home router.
However, I am unable to do this from a windows machine. I have
loaded the Extreme software on windows and can connect to the
router using the windows version of the Apple configuration
software, but I can't seem to find a way to access the shared
drive. I've tried \\myip\share and the net use command, but to no
avail.
Does anyone know how to access a shared extreme drive from a
windows box that isn't on the local network?
Thanks
RC
