I know I'm likely jumping the gun on this question, but has anyone heard
about government employee pricing for the iPhone and its services?
Assuming that Apple goes with the ~6% discount offered on other
hardware, the iPhones would be priced at $469 (4GB) and $563 (8GB). I'm
also aware that AT&T/Cingular offer discounted service plans for
DoD/federal employees as well. I just hope that these can both be
applied to government employees purchasing the iPhone for personal use
through whatever means available.
For a product launch this big less than three weeks away, one would
think that they have this information available to potential customers.
