Sorry- please interpret for me. Does this mean Filevault will NOT be
certified for FIPS 140-2? Or just not yet? That sounds like a living
nightmare!

All,
Researching any solutions that provide encryption on the Mac that are
FIPS 140-2 certified. I have been told that compliant technologies
and technologies in the certification process (aka FileVault) are
unacceptable.
At this point the only FIPS 140-2 solution on the Mac that I know of
is PGP.
Anyone?
