Leopard certainly won’t be UNIX in name only. Apple will submit
Leopard and Leopard Server to The Open Group for certification
against the UNIX ‘03 product standard.
I feel there should be some warning about forward looking statements
here. Last summer this page included discussion of Apple's planned
type enforcement technology, but sometime in the last six months or
so it has been removed. As the bottom of the page states:
"Note: These Leopard overview articles show features and interface
elements that are pre-release and may change."
