Really? Exchange doesn't talk CalDAV. So if I want to use
Exchange's calendar service what do I use? Certainly not a
standards-based calendar client. Similarly MS's implementation of
SIP and SIMPLE isn't standard either.
That's the kind of separation that matters.
And let's not forget that the Exchange format isn't really a standard
in anything other than Microsoft land.
