My recollection was NO access to the dock connector in the API published.
This prevents a myriad of possible 3rd party hardware/software possibilities
including a CAC reader, bar code reader and a whole lot of other things.
Unless Apple opens the dock or provides the reader themselves or partners
with the provider I don't see how this will happen.
