Hear hear. I currently use a Palm Centro I bought unlocked direct
from Palm because my carrier didn't offer it (and I wanted a
smartphone with an OS that didn't stink on ice like WinMobile). It's
been a joy to have *all* the features available vs. my old phone,
which while "unlocked" (i.e., I could use any SIM from any carrier)
was still crippled (features disabled in the software image).
