I am waiting for the emails to start "I need a CAC reader for my

RIM has the hardware, just need an OS X driver for it:
Would that it were that simple. Bluetooth encryption stinks on ice,
so both the Apriva and RIM BT CAC readers use a second encryption
layer *inside* the Bluetooth link. RIM's uses an OTP scheme to sync
this encryption layer, and Apriva's uses a shared encryption key that
can only be distributed over a USB link.
Which makes both of 'em a real pain to use. :/
