I would rather use Safari however since my mail server uses my email
cert that causes a problem. Under 10.4 I used the
AFCCertificateControl.dmg which was a slimed down version of ADmitMac
for CAC that only hid your ID cert. I haven't seen that version
around anymore and the full blown ADmitMac for CAC seems a bit like
overkill to just check webmail.

I assume your webmail does not work with Safari? I ask because Safari
works
fine with web sites that require CAC. I haven't tried using Firefox
since I
upgraded to Leopard (actually since I had to rebuild my machine) but
previously there were definitely issues where attempting to enable use
of
the CAC within Firefox security/certificate preferences would crash it
every
time.
The instructions from http://handle.dtic.mil/100.2/ADA445103 are
somewhat
outdated now, but the section for configuring Thunderbird can be
applied to
Firefox. Again, I'm assuming that the procedure is the same under
Leopard
as in previous versions of OS X.

Does anyone have their CAC reader working w/ Firefox in Leopard? I
really need to be able to get to my webmail w/o having to boot up my
vmware. Since my email server is setup using my email cert instead of
my id cert, getting firefox to work seems to be my best bet.
Any other ideas would be much appreciated.
