I haven't gotten a response that helps yet, so I am trying again.
We are trying to configure a system to be compliant with the security
rules (NISPOM, etc).
The system not connected to any network.
Does anyone have a script or other method for informing a user 14 days
in advance of when the user's password will expire?
On a related but different note does anyone have ideas on giving the
user feedback on Directory accounts age when the user is logging into
cache extensively? We would like to not have to rely exclusively on
email notifications.
Even less likely having users visit their offices and actually plugging
in the jack rather than living off of wireless with the same AD
passwords that they use to log in. The combination of more mobility
options, fresh FDCC mandated 60 day passwords and more encryption
requirements, possibly including FileVault, has lots of downsides.
