Hi,
I'm testing scripts to create Locations as part of an InstaDMG build.
I’ve
been creating them using these commands in a script:
## Create Wireless profile
newSet=`uuidgen`
/usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c "Add :Sets:${newSet} dict"
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist
/usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c "Add :Sets:${newSet}:UserDefinedName string
'Guest Wireless'" /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/
preferences.plist
scselect "Guest Wireless"
networksetup -detectnewhardware
###
The detectnewhardware adds all the available hardware to the location
so use
networksetup to configure the location as needed.
