Gents,
Here is the response I received from Brandi at the AKO Help Desk (grammar
and Caps unchanged):
---------------------
Sir,
The AKO/DKO portal was coded to be used by Internet Explorer. Other browsers
will work with the portal but may not display the AKO/DKO portal correctly.
One of the browsers that have the biggest problems on the MAC is Safari. If
a user is using Safari on their MAC to access the AKO/DKO portal, suggest
that the user use either Camino or Firefox to access the AKO/DKO portal.
Camino and Firefox generally have fewer issues with displaying the AKO/DKO
portal.
The AKO/DKO portal does have any support for any browser other than Internet
Explorer.
-----------------------
I find it interesting that the development effort is not more robust given
the diverse community (active, retirees and families) that use the portal.
Perhaps someone on the FedTalk list has a little more influence at that
level...?
