If "Use Directory Services to find Certificates" is enabled they can show up in address book. Unfortunately, if you have the signing cert in a local keychain that's what will end up being shown in AB. We hope to address this in a future release.

Is there something that can be done to make Address Book see users' certificates as well? I'm pretty sure it just uses an OpenLDAP client backend.
