[Fed-Talk] Using Address Book to find encryption certs in OpenLDAP

  • Subject: [Fed-Talk] Using Address Book to find encryption certs in OpenLDAP

Outlook on the PC, and Entourage on the Mac can lookup users' encryption certificates stored in an LDAP server (as an attribute of a user).  This comes in very hand with S/MIME encrypted e-mail, whether or not you're using CAC's.

Is there something that can be done to make Address Book see users' certificates as well?  I'm pretty sure it just uses an OpenLDAP client backend.

Thanks,
