The CIS Benchmark for Snow Leopard effort is just getting off the
ground. I'm hopeful we will have it complete in 3-6 months. These
things aren't fast.
I anticipate Apple will have their 10.6 guide out in time for 10.7 :-)

Does anybody know if the Security Configuration Guide for 10.6 is
available yet?
I’ve found an index to many guides [1], and the list of Mac OS X
Security Configuration Guides [2], but don’t see a listing for a
10.6 or Snow Leopard Guide. Given that there seem to be significant
changes in things like Directory and BSM and other less well defined
security changes, and that this is a major release, I would think
there would be a guide somewhere – but I can’t find it.
