Ha, that's funny.
In our case, they were insisting that we were using an authenticated proxy (which we don't). I told him he weren't and he said I must be confused. No, I'm pretty sure I know what our proxy is, because you know, I package software to be configured to traverse said proxy... I think I'd know how it works on the client end of things.
Come on Apple, at least acknowledge that there may be a flaw in the product that you need to fix. It's not a sign of weakness, I swear. At least I'd have the self-assured "ok it wasn't me" set straight :)
