Somewhat, yes. 10's of miles, not a problem. 100's of miles, will take
longer to acquire. 100's of miles and a couple of weeks since last use
you could be looking at a couple minutes. It's receiver dependent, to
some extent and the rest is all about the satellites. No, look at cold
starting a brand new DAGR in encrypted mode and you are looking at a
good 10 minutes to get to a nav solution, but that is a totally
different beast from what we are discussing here.
