But if it's a speed bump on a road no one travels down, it's probably a
safer road.
I'm not sure my analogy was clear, then. You should not assume that adversaries like those described in the Mandiant report are only compromising Windows machines. All COTS platforms are at risk.
I do agree that using a minority platform does raise the bar a bit (which is why I'm typing this on a Mac ;-)), but only a bit. No one should be complacent, especially large contractors, government agencies, or tech companies--i.e., pretty much all of us here.
