You should have put it on Craigslist. I ended up getting 1800.00 for my extra one. I traded it straight over for a 30 inch Apple cinema display.
I have the same issues with the iPhone I kept even with a bumper.
I know a lot of people blame Apple but I think its ATT all the way.
When I called to complain they gave me 2000 roller minutes and a 100 credit. That was nice but the end result is in California I could not make or receive calls or get data to work, all the while the sprint phones (which people knock sprint all the time) worked perfect the entire time. Even in the mojave desert.
ATT also reminded that there is no guarantee of service in my contract so I'm stuck (her exact words).
I think the class action should be against ATT for lies, deception and fraud. Both Verizon and sprint bury ATT for 3g speeds. And calls dropped and never even placed ATT beats them 10 fold.
I have nothing good to say about ATT. Nothing at all.

This became painfully evident to me the past two days with my brand new iPhone 4. I was in places showing 4-5 bars and 3G but no app could get data or slow to being useless. I had 5 important phone calls and all dropped or people could not hear me. I was avoiding holding the iPhone the "wrong way".
I ended up returning my iPhone after 2 days of use. It was painful since I really liked the phone. It was my first experience with AT&T in about 10 years of using Verizon and Sprint and I really wanted to give it a shot given the number of mixed experiences with it. If there was a data only iPhone I would have kept it.
I think the claim of "How many bars" of AT&T being used so much, then dropped, was no accident, hence the secrecy...
