Classification: UNCLASSIFIED
Caveats: NONE
1. Where do I go to see if a piece of equipment has a Cert. of
Networthiness?
2. Our Mac Pros have two Ethernet ports on them. Can I create two user
accounts and restrict each account to just one port? My idea is to use one
port to attach to our Redstone network and the other user account and port
would be used for a private network with all our video equipment so we can
move our GB video files between workstations.
Rant. Everything we buy now is designed to be controlled over a network. we
are going to use LED lighting in our new studio. The LED lights have a RJ45
connector on them and are designed to he controlled over Ethernet but my
guess is I will never convince Netcom and the IA folks this is a good idea.
Thanks
Bob
