I can picture the arguments:
A hacker could penetrate the network and flash the LEDs in a pattern to send people into epileptic seizures.
or
The server code in the LED could have a bug letting a hacker to initially penetrate your network by your lights.
or
What country do you think those LEDs are manufactured in? They could have a Trojan horse.
or
Do they meet NISPOM certification?
