What kills me about this is if Apple were actually going to do it, all of
this consternation would have been kiboshed if they had simply mentioned
it on the web/in the PDF/in a press release. "One more thing." In the
absence of something official, we are left to deal with the reality of the
situation and I'm not trying to bet my career on hoping for the best. I
think you'd be a fool to plan your infrastructure around wishful thinking.
Hate to put it like that, but that's pretty much where we are until we
hear otherwise. And who knows when (if) that will actually happen. This
is Apple we're dealing with. And it aint the first time something like
this has happened.
