- Thread-topic: Q. Is Apple considering getting iTunes, & mobileme FISMA compliant and ATO?
Background: If Google Apps are FISMA compliant & Have an ATO then:
Question: Is Apple considering making iTunes, & mobileme FISMA
compliant and obtaining an ATO?
I had thought that it would be impossible for USG to allow employees to
use Google Apps. That
bridge has been crossed. I guess the next question is in future will
most
applications i.e. office automation and content delivery be done through
the
a non government owned cloud? At least to UFOU?
Last Question /* bias I love iTunes for the content i.e. Project
Management Podcasts are my favorite */
Background: I have always wanted to create little iTunes video Podcasts
using Podcast Producer to demonstrate little things
like configuring your Mac to access NMCI email and publish them on a
DoD/Navy iTunes server. I don't I could justify
procuring an Mac mini server even if it cost less than a cup of coffee.
The problem with my two(2)
previous statements are:
1. I could never find information if apple ever released an stand alone
iTunes server.
2. Even if apple did I could never get a Mac mini server to create
visually and auditory
Interesting content. Most videos I have seen have no music just
Wah,Wah,Wah,Wah,Wah....
If apple were to get accredit iTunes and mobileme and ilife FISMA
accredited and Navy did an ATO
so that anyone could use these apps over the net then I could be one
step closer to creating
interesting content.
Finally, the Question: Does anyone know if Apple has announced that it
is seeking FISMA compliance
of iTunes?
Thank you from,

raymond
