If you think about it, graphics is the only market that Microsoft has not tried to dominate. Adobe has been the Microsoft of graphics for some time (note price of Adobe Creative Suite...)
I am surprised that these strange bedfellows of this war were not made earlier! :-)
How wallstreet would react to Microsoft making a bid for Adobe? Would if that bid would not have to be a "merger" considering the balance sheet of Adobe.
