1. Move the downloaded Lion installer via any suitable mechanism (external drive, USB stick, network volume, etc.) to the desired machine:

2. Burn a special image named "InstallESD.dmg" inside the Lion installation bundle (which is really just a bootable Lion DVD image) to a DVD:
