- Thread-topic: [Fed-Talk] I fell for the 10.7.3 Update
Just to clarify, since I'd rather not have folks take an unwarranted
impression of Thursby:
The problem I experienced with Pkard and Outlook was card access would be
lost when attempting a *second* private key operation. E.g., sign one
message works, signing a second message fails.
This could be worked around by ejecting and re-inserting the card.
Reverting to Apple's PIV tokend also resolved the problem, and using PKard
with Mail also had no problem. This was specific to Outlook and Pkard.
I reported the bug and Thursby's response was Outlook wasn't part of the
support baseline, but they'd log it and address it on a best-effort basis.
Fair enough, IMHO; everything has a baseline, you can't expect software
support for infinite combinations. :)
