For those of you who are trying to get Mountain Lion to run as a guest under Parallels and experiencing the freeze on the apple boot up screen, it's an easy fix..
1) Configure customer hardware
2) give it 2 CPUs and 512MB of video ram (although I am hearing 256mb might work as well)
3) Install works fine.
I am currently doing this on my MBPro 17 with SSD and its only taking about 15 minutes to complete.. I am then going to copy that Parallels image over to my Mac Pro 2007.. and I am going to bet it works perfectly... might be a way to get ML on old hardware...
Mike
