And... Further how was the information obtained. Did they get it from an unsecure app developer server... Did apple hand it over to them? 12 million is a lot.
Is the UDID somehow used as an encryption key make it not so secure to those with a specific algorithm? (Yes it's coming another NSA comment).
The fact apple has been disallowing UDID usage and they still have this many records is somewhat alarming.
I'm all or watching people that can threaten life, but I don't think there are 12 million terrorist lurking in the world.
