This email is a one-time AUTOMATIC follow up to a past inquiry regarding the BAI / BAL / baiMobile 3000MP secure BlueTooth reader, the 3000MP. Here are the production secure iPad/iPhone apps from Thursby:
(1) Paid app PKard Browser app supports baiMobile 3000MP only @ $119.99 for 1 with secure Bluetooth (pairing and speed depend on the firmware/hardware, not the app). The baiMobile middleware supports CAC and some PIV cards.
2) Bundled app (no additional cost beyond the hardware for free download from iTunes) PKard Reader app supports Thursby PKard Reader plug-in hardware and Precise Biometrics Tactico cased hardware, with full support for CAC and PIV and shortly .NET. Most projects from 2012 onward are using option (2), with option (1) being mainly historical DoD pilots where secure BlueTooth was, or still is a hard requirement. The 3000MP is the only secure BlueTooth reader.
If you'd like more information on the apps, ISVs or the hardware independent, royalty free app-to-app SDK about to be released, please reach out directly.
Regards, Simon
