There is an app for that! It is called FlightRadar24 ($2.99) You can try
it at their website flightradar24.com where you can view details such as
destination, times, altitude etc. for almost any (I'm assuming commercial)
flight that is in the air. You can also switch to cockpit mode and watch
the virtual horizon and track.
