There is also Reposado to cache Apple software updates for ALL versions of the mac operating system, and will run on any OS. It just requires you to run a web service and have curl installed. More information here:

Also, even though software updates may now be delivered in the GUI through the Mac App Store, the "softwareupdate" command from the command line is still available and may be used to bring down Apple software updates outside of the Mac App Store.
