Hi All:
I likely will be looking to buy some RAIDS to add to an existing XSAN 2.2. Companies seem to be coming and going, in particular ones that are XSAN compatible. I am looking for recommendations for brands. I want at least a 48TB RAID, higher if available, reasonable quality (that is we run 24/7 with heavy access so want redundant and swappable power and controllers if possible).
We have a bunch of ActiveStorage which have been rock solid, but I guess they are kaput,
I have an Infortrend which has been reliable, does anyone know anything about their more recent model?
Does anyone know about SuperMicro? Is it still making RAIDS?
Any other recommendations? I know the Promise RAIDS work, but they have been relatively high cost in the past, and still seem to be.
Thanks,
-Roy M.
