The systems I’ve done, I’ve used a memory stick I built and I haven’t seen
a stuck Apple ID.
I did have a few people upgrade themselves. I just signed in to one of
their systems under my account and went to the app store - no Apple ID
remembered. Have you tried signing in as a different user and checking the
app store?
