That still doesn't include "very small and fast", either, though you did say that you store a lot of them, and you were concerned about "inefficiency".


So aliases definitely violate your memory/time requirements?

It's just a bit irritating if you're trying to work out a detail, e.g. optimize your Altivec code, and then someone suggests to try AppleScript instead.
