Installation script arguments

  • Subject: Installation script arguments

I've built an updater with PackageMaker 2.1, and I was hoping to be able to use the postflight script to carry out some post-processing on the upgraded app. The docs say that argument 2 passed to the script is the path to the installation destination; however, I only ever get '/' passed in. I'm guessing this is because my updater uses Find File to locate the previously installed app to upgrade, rather than letting the user choose a destination.

Is there any way for my script to retrieve the location that Find File has returned?

Thanks,
