question on building distribution packages

  • Subject: question on building distribution packages

This may be a silly question, but I'm trying to build a package that includes sub-packages and choices on which sub-packages to install. In Tiger this was very easy, but I'm totally lost as to how to do it in Leopard.

I read this document:
http://developer.apple.com/documentation/DeveloperTools/Conceptual/SoftwareDistribution/Managed_Install_Definition/chapter_7_section_3.html#/ /apple_ref/doc/uid/10000145i-CH9-SW13

But it provides no actual instructions (i.e. step-by-step) on using PackageMaker to build a distribution package.

There seems to be something basic I'm missing in the specific steps it takes to build a distribution package

What am I missing?

Mike
