I'm developing with the latest PackageMaker in 10.4.8 Tiger. I need
support for both Panther and Tiger.
During the install process, my readme and license files are truncated
when the pkg is ran in Panther. No problems appear in Tiger. The
text on the right hand of the screen is simply cut off when viewing
the readme or license. I'm using .rtf format.
Changing to .txt seems to be a workaround (as it seems to move the
justification of the text slightly to the right), but I lose all the
rtf formatting. I'm using TextEdit to create and edit the license
and readme files.
Any idea what is going on here? Any suggestions for a more suitable
fix than changing the extension?
Thanks,
Matt
