[installer-dev] New Package Maker sets things "Group Writeable"?

Hello,

now that Leopard is out of the box I would like to discuss the issue here on the list.

I would love to move to the new Package Maker, but when trying to set up a Kernel Extension installation, it automatically makes my kext "Group Writeable", which is a "must not" for Kernel Extensions. This is regardless of the settings I set for this Contents.

Has anyone else noticed this? Am I missing something?

I have filed this in rader as 5462856 if anyone wishes to file a duplicate.

Thanks

Alex
