Dear all,
I'm having a hard time creating an installer with PackageMaker 3.0.1.
Whenever I add an application bundle to be installed as part of a
pmdoc, and then try to build the package, PackageMaker crashes. This
generally happens as it says it is applying recommended permissions or
verifying ZeroLink (for the application bundle).
When I don't have an application bundle in the installer package, the
build does not crash (and the installer works great). This occurs
whenever an application bundle is included in the installer.
I have also tried other application bundles just to make sure the
particular one I was installing did not have some kind of corruption
problem--and the same error occurred. I tried reinstalling
PackageMaker, trashing the prefs, and restarting but I'm still unable
to build a package.
Please advise! Have any of you encountered the same problem? Any ideas
what might be wrong? I can't imagine absolutely everyone is unable to
create installers for applications with the new version of PackageMaker!
Thanks,
Dan
