PackageMaker 3.0.1 downloading packages from a web page/url

  • Thread-topic: PackageMaker 3.0.1 downloading packages from a web page/url

Has anyone attempted having packages pull from a url rather than store them
in the distribution package? I've noticed the option when building the
package, and have tried it, but keep getting an error when it goes to
download.

The smaller package runs fine, and the distribution package will build and
pull a copy of the smaller package when it builds, but when I run the
distribution package it errors saying that it can't download the
file/package.

I'm discovering that there is NO documentation for this version of Packmaker
and am feeling my way through it.

Any help is appreciated.
