Systems previous to 10.5 will not have the app installed in that
location. That being said we did use PlistBuddy on our 10.4 installers
and you might be able to *locate* a copy of it to include and use with
your installer. That isn't really a supported use but the choice is yours.
Hmm - just came across "defaults", which exists in Tiger, and does
EXACTLY what I want!
