Install Failed: "Can't instantiate package"

OK, I'm willing to concede this may be pilot error, but there really needs
to be some kind of resources that can help with the myriad of issues
Packagemaker 3 is presenting...

Here I have a package that USED to install, now, for some reason, nothing
installs -- even after deleting receipts. Error log from installer is
below.

A possible hint is that now the product package says it's "distribution",
where when it worked it used to say "mixed". Other than that, I've looked
at the settings from the packagemaker project that used to work and the one
that doesn't, and other than the addition of an additional component to
install some folders, everything else seems to be exactly the same.

Anyone seen this?

Stephen
