Hi List,
We have two similar products:
VServer_Office
VServer_Embedded.
They must installs folders as
/Library
StartupItems
VServer_Embedded
VServer_Office
VServer_Embedded
VServer_Office
User usually will install only one of these products,
But must be possible isntall both.
So I have made new installers using PackageMaker 3.0
VServer_Embedded.pmdoc
VServer_Office.pmdoc
Of course I have specify for each sub-package own identifier for example
com.paradigmasoft.vserver.embedded.startup
com.paradigmasoft.vserver.embedded.exec
Now PROBLEM:
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I do install, e.g. VServer_Office.mpkg
This installs
/Library
StartupItems
VServer_Office
VServer_Office
Then I install VServer_Embedded.mpkg and OPS, instead getting additional
folders, I see in Finder that VServer_Office fodlers are DELETED (???) and
instead are installed VServer_Embedded folders.
Why VServer_Office fodlers are deleted ?
I have check everything inside mpdoc, pkgs, xml files....
How OS X decide that it must TRASH vserver_office folders ?
Please help.
