Greg,

Thanks for your reply! I have been looking (since your response) for an
example of the syntax for what you describe and can find none. Can you point
me in the right direction? I have googled on " IFPkgFlagRestartAction
RequiredRestart"

Thanks again,

Steve O'Sullivan

If by this you mean can you set the option to RequireRestart after
installation, then yes. You need to use the --info option to pass the
path to a properly constructed Info.plist that has this key set.
Alternately, you could add the key to generated plist in the resulting
package built by packagemaker (assuming you're building bundle-style
packages, and not flat packages).

Good afternoon all,

I am resubmitting this question in the hopes that some more people
may get a
gander at it. I have been googling and looking at the man pages, but
have
not found any kind of answer through those methods. Thanks for any
and all
assistance!

I am building a package from the command line, without using a
pmdoc. I am
using PackageMaker 3.0.2.

Is it possible for me to configure the resulting package to force a
restart
at the end of the installation process when building the package
from the
command line?

Thanks for any and all assistance!

Regards,

Steve O'Sullivan
