If you find this I'd be interested in knowing, as well. Note that walking the directory tree up from your plugin's path doesn't tell you where the user ran it from because Installer.app copies the package to /tmp before loading it. The best solution I could come up with when I investigated this was, assuming your plugin runs after the install phase, have your preinstall put the original package path in a known location for your plugin, (since Installer.app sets all those nice environment vars & arguments to the install scripts)

I know I can get the bundle for the plugin that is currently running in my plugin and I know I can easily get the bundle for the Installer application, but what I want is the bundle for the Installer Package which the plugin is part of. Is there an easy way to do that? I know I can climb up the path from my plugin's bundle and get it, but I was hoping for something simpler.
