This same thing is happening to me. I am generating my installer with
the PackageMaker 2.1.1 and have the problem installing on recent
version of Mac OS 10.5. Does anyone know what is causing this type of
crash?

Hi,
I've just been testing our software in Leopard and the first problem
is that the installer crashes when it is finishing.
Everything of ours seems to been installed correctly.
This installer was created with PackageMaker running in 10.4 and I'm
installing into a clean install of 10.5 with the 10.5.1 update.
The install.log shows the following:

Jan 16 16:09:12 imac Installer[149]: An exception was thrown from

NSInvalidReceivePortException. connection went invalid while
waiting for a reply.
