Another bug in "Distribution Definition Reference"?

  • Subject: Another bug in "Distribution Definition Reference"?

Is it me or the http://developer.apple.com/documentation/ DeveloperTools/Reference/DistributionDefinitionRef/200- Distribution_XML_Ref/Distribution_XML_Ref.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/ TP40005370-CH100-SW20 documentation is wrong when it comes to the possible values of the 'selected', 'visible' and 'enabled' attributes of a choice?

The documentation states that the value should be 'no', 'yes' or the result of a function.

It just happens that Installer.app seems to believe that the value should be 'true', 'false' or the result of a function:

> Feb 7 21:37:18 Selene : JavaScript error "Can't find variable: yes" while running "__choice_something_start_selected"

As I tend to trust Installer.app more than this documentation, is there any remote possibility that 'yes' and 'no' are accepted sometimes?

For the record, OSInstall.dist used "false" and "true" for Tiger.

As a consequence of this, I tend to question the possible values listed for 'customLocationAllowAlternateVolumes' in this very same documentation.

Bug report filed through the feedback form of the documentation.

BTW, it could be a good idea to mark the "Admin" value of auth as being deprecated.
