Hi,
I installed an sample application using a package created using PackageMaker3.0.3. The installer storing the package identifiers with package names in a.receiptdb file. I tried to install the same package it shows upgrade action as Upgrade. I moved the a.receiptdb, then i installed same package so the installer showed me Install as Upgrade action.
Is there any other way to identify whether the package already installed or not even if the user deletes the a.receiptdb.
I deleted that a.reciptdb file by mistakenly. Is there any problem to the other applications and packages installed in my machine.
Im using 10.5.5. Please clarify.

Thanks in advance

Siva.............
